Representatives from Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Singapore visited Ruiyuan Richfield Potash Mining Project at Thongmang, Vientiane, Laos.
On April 10, 2024, Mr. Owin Fung Ho-yin, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore, along with Deputy Director Mr. Alfred Tang Yuet-Yung and other representatives, visited SK Agricultural Technic Co., Ltd.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Ruiyuan Richfield Sylvine Co., Ltd., during their inspection tour in Laos. They received a comprehensive briefing on the Vientiane Thongmang potash mining project.
Ruiyuan Richfield Sylvine Co., Ltd. provided detailed information on the project and its investment prospects. The delegation expressed strong interest and conducted an on-site visit to the project site. During the exchange meeting, the parties discussed the potential for SK Group’s financing and listing in Hong Kong. Mr. Owin Fung Ho-yin emphasized that for Lao enterprises looking to expand their business abroad, Hong Kong is a reliable partner, offering a stable business environment and enhancing connections with Mainland China and international markets.
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore is the official representative office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, located in the Suntec City of downtown Singapore. It was the first office established by the Hong Kong government in Southeast Asia. Initially handling relations between Hong Kong and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) since its opening in 1995, the office now covers Singapore, Laos, and Vietnam, while also overseeing India, following the establishment of additional offices in Jakarta and Bangkok.
